An expert in data analytics and empirical finance, Leon Zolotoy is Associate Professor at Melbourne Business School Limited at The University of Melbourne where he teaches Financial Management and Finance in both the full- and part-time MBA programs.
Prof. Zolotoy’s recent research interests include the antecedents of stock price crashes and the implications of executive compensation design for firms’ outcomes, among other topics. His work has been published in leading academic journals, including The Accounting Review, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Banking and Finance, and Journal of Management.
Leon has also been a visiting scholar at Stern School of Business (New York University) and at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He received his Ph.D. from Tilburg University (Netherlands) in 2008.
Prof. Zolotoy is a charter member of Pelham Associates.
