Professional Information
A Professor of Marketing at Melbourne Business School Limited at The University of Melbourne, Jill teaches Managerial Judgement, Decision Making, Resilient Leadership, and Ethics. She has taught at a wide variety of levels including the full- and part-time MBA, the Executive and Senior Executive MBA, the Advanced Managers Program, the Specialist Certificate in Clinical Leadership, and several executive education programs.
After completing her PhD in Social Psychology at the University of Michigan, Jill joined the faculty at Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. In 1997, she joined INSEAD. Jill has also held visiting positions at Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration.
Jill’s research has been published in the Journal of Marketing, Management Science, Journal of Consumer Psychology, British Medical Journal, and other academic journals. A primary focus of her recent work has been decision-making biases in business and medical settings.
Jill’s work has been reported on in popular news outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, the Guardian, and the Huffington Post.
Jill is a charter member of Pelham Associates.
